Watermelon and lime is a perfect duo. Watermelon is rich in lycopene and high in amino acids and anti- oxidants. As lime juice has a high amount of Vitamin C that fights unwanted illnesses, helps to prevent kidney stones and it also lowers blood pressure and cholesterol that keeps your body fit and healthy.
2 cups watermelon, seeded, cubed
1/2 cup lime juice
1 cup sparkling water or clear soda
2 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
slices of lime, for garnish
slices of jalapeño, for garnish and extra kick
* In a blender purée watermelon add lime juice and maple syrup. Mix and blend well. Transfer to a glass and pour some sparkling water and add ice cubes. Garnish with sliced lime and jalapeño. Serve and enjoy!
